AirPods Wireless Charging Compatibility
Before choosing a KUXIU wireless charger, check your AirPods charging case. Wireless charging depends on the case you have.
This guide helps you identify wireless-ready cases. For a specific KUXIU charger, also check the compatibility information on its product page.
1. Find your charging case model
Open the lid and look for the small model number printed inside your charging case. It starts with A followed by four digits. Match that number to the table below.
Check the case, not the earbuds. Earbud model numbers are different from charging case model numbers. If the print is hard to read, use Apple’s identification guide or send KUXIU support a clear photo of your case.
2. Check wireless charging compatibility
Yes means the case supports Qi wireless charging. Check your chosen KUXIU product page for charger-specific compatibility.

Please note: A protective cover or magnetic ring cannot add wireless charging to a cable-only case.
3. Place your case on the charger
- Connect your charger to the power adapter recommended for that product.
- Put your AirPods in the case and close the lid.
- Lay the case flat on the designated AirPods charging area, with the status light facing up. Center it on the charging surface.
- Check the status light or the battery status on your iPhone to confirm charging.
The status light may turn off after a few seconds while charging continues.
Frequently asked questions
Does a USB-C port mean my case supports wireless charging?
No. The charging port alone does not tell you whether a case supports wireless charging. Use the compatibility table above.
Does my case need to attach magnetically?
No. A compatible case can charge on a flat Qi charging surface without magnetic attachment. Use the designated AirPods area on your KUXIU charger and follow its placement instructions.
What if charging does not start?
Confirm your case is listed as wireless-compatible, check the charger’s power connection, and reposition the case. Try removing any protective cover and make sure nothing is between the case and the charging surface. If the issue continues, contact KUXIU support with your case model and charger model.
Will a higher-wattage charger charge my AirPods faster?
A charger’s advertised phone-charging wattage is not a promise of the same charging speed for AirPods. Refer to your KUXIU product’s specifications for its AirPods charging output.
